Our goal is for you to feel happy, confident and comfortable when having your photos taken. Same for your kiddos - let's find options that speak to their personalities and comforts. Happy to have you text me photos along the way or vice versa. We can use as much as possible from your own closets or shop your favorite catalogues - completely up to you!

My goal is to help you create wall art that will coordinate with your space. Imagery that you are proud to display and incorporate into your decor.
The Style and color palette you are typically drawn to.
I typically suggest finding outfits for your kids first - either that they already own or take a few min to browse your favorite company's websites for inspiration: Mini Boden, Hanna Andersson, Tea, Crewcuts, Gap Kids, Old Navy, etc. We typically have an easier time finding clothes for our kids first as we like them in certain colors or styles but sometimes moms like to find something for themselves first since that can often be a bit more challenging and their kids are easier. Whatever works best for you! And then hopefully our significant others are pretty flexible.

Feel free to send me pics along the way. Happy to help in the decision making process as I know this is one of the biggest hurdles moms face when planning a photo session. I often receive cell phone shots from stores - love this!
SO YOU CAN VISUALLY SEE THEM TOGETHER
The key is to coordinate without matching. You don't want to all be in the same color as you will blend together in photos. You may want to bring in a pattern with one or more outfits and a color that stands out to increase the wow factor. For example, if you tend to gravitate toward the blues (which most of us do, then what colors can you add in to give a pop of color? Gold or teal often work well...or both!)

We often only think of the basics for pant colors and forget that this can be a great way to bring in another color. (ie gold, teal, cranberry, etc.)
TO INCORPORATE SOME COLOR WITHIN YOUR PANTS
Don't forget about shoes! These are often overlooked and definitely help pull an outfit together. Especially if you have little kiddos and we want to get the walking and swinging photos for you guys. Choose something you are comfortable in but also stylish.

My clients are looking for a more boutique and hands on experience with their photographer. We have fun chatting both on the phone and in person about wardrobe and location ideas and get excited for making our visions a reality. We work together to get their family images on the wall and in their hands for future generations to enjoy.
HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION WITH YOU?
A designated session fee and signed contract is required to hold your session time with me. We then schedule a prep meeting at either your home or my studio allowing us to discuss wardrobe and location as well as walls you would like some design assistance with. Often the size of our walls feels overwhelming and we don't want to order the wrong size so our walls remain empty. Now that we are working together this will no longer be a concern. We can order your images with confidence!
Our prep meeting also gives you an opportunity to touch and hold all of the options for preserving your family's story (frames, albums, and other specialty products).
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN OUR SESSION FEE?
It covers all of our time together - your prep meeting, our photo session, a mindful cull of images with basic edits, a proofing gallery and your one-on-one ordering session. All images that are used for products in your order are hand-edited and retouched prior to printing.
CAN I PURCHASE DIGITAL FILES?
Yes, you absolutely can! While my goal is to help you get your images on the wall and in your hands, I also understand that you want your digital files for future slideshows, online sharing, etc. Any images used within your products will be sent to you as medium resolution images via email. If you would like to purchase all images from your session please consult my price list.
WHAT IS A GALLERY REVEAL?
This is my favorite part! It's often a great excuse for a date night with your significant other and I love being with you when seeing your family's story unveiled for the first time.
We then review the images together where we can see them as groupings and side by side. My clients share that this makes the entire selection process so much easier. We are able to narrow them down to the "best of the best" while also viewing custom album and wall layouts I've created for you.
IS THERE A SPENDING MINIMUM?
Absolutely not!
